Eat to Beat Climate Change is about getting more people to eat vegetarian and vegan food.
But how can you change what other people put on their plate? By asking your workplace, sports club, place of worship, college or even your knitting group to sign up to eat to beat climate change.
Signing up will mean that all the food your group orders, purchases or brings in will be veggie or vegan by default. People can still request or bring in their own meat or fish option if they want to. This way no one’s choices are limited but more people will be Eating to Beat Climate Change. That’s all there is to it!
By doing this, you are:
Reducing your environmental impact
Helping to meet your corporate social responsibility (CSR) targets
Respecting everyone’s right to choose
Leading the way and inspiring others to take action
Once you’ve started to Eat to Beat Climate Change with your group let us know so you can claim your free badge and certificate, and you can tell everyone else!

My group or workplace would like to Eat to Beat Climate Change
Any group can eat to beat climate change together. Depending on your group and the situation, how you do it might be slightly different.
The food at your next catered meeting is all vegetarian and vegan. Anyone who wants a meat or fish option will let you know beforehand.
At the next charity event you organise all the food is vegetarian and vegan, with one meat or fish option for people who ask for it.
Switch your post game grub for veggie and vegan versions. Anyone who wants meat or fish will either let you know beforehand or bring their own.
All the catering for your conferences is vegetarian and vegan as standard. If someone wants a meat or fish option they will let you know when confirming their attendance.
The next time your society hosts an event all the food is vegetarian and vegan, with one meat or fish option for people who request it.
Place of worship
At your next get-together everyone will be asked to bring in veggie and vegan food to share. If people want to eat meat or fish they can bring their own option with them.
Next time you eat together, the food will be vegetarian and vegan. People who want to eat meat or fish can bring something for themselves.
Groups and organisations across the UK and USA are already signed up to eat to beat climate change.
