Working for the Vegetarian Society

The Vegetarian Society is a national charity based in Altrincham, Greater Manchester. Members of our small professional staff team report to the charity’s Council of Trustees. To find out more about the Vegetarian Society and its mission, values, activities and strategic aims, please refer to the Extracts from the Business Plan 2014 document and our Five-Year Strategy.

Individual Giving Officer AND Fundraising Officer posted 31 July 2018

Based in Altrincham, Greater Manchester

Full-time (potential for part-time)

Up to £25,000 plus 33 days annual leave including public holidays

We are looking for two great fundraisers who share our values and can help us achieve our vision through generating donations and funding income.

As Individual Giving Officer, you will use your creativity and experience of direct marketing campaigns to grow membership and regular giving, develop income from individual donors and develop the supporter journey. More details about the role.

As Fundraising Officer you will lead the fundraising for the UK Food Plan (the charity's new and ambitious plan to transform vegetarian options in targeted contexts), using your ability to build great relationships with individuals and funders to develop and deliver income.
