The Vegetarian Society is a national charity based in Altrincham, Greater Manchester. Members of our small professional staff team report to the charity’s Council of Trustees. To find out more about the Vegetarian Society and its mission, values, activities and strategic aims, please refer to the Extracts from the Business Plan 2014 document and our Five-Year Strategy.

Administration Officer posted 20 March 2017

Full time: 35 hrs
Salary: SCP 10 to 17 - the related salary range is £15,613 to £17,772

This will be on a fixed term contract until March 2019 to be reviewed towards the end of this period.

We are looking for a Full Time Administration Officer to be based in our headquarters which is located in Parkdale, a converted mansion house surrounded by private gardens, five minutes from the M56 and within close proximity to Altrincham.

Reporting to the Head of Admin/PA to the CEO, the person in this role will influence, inspire and support people to embrace and maintain a vegetarian lifestyle. You will need to be able to demonstrate how you uphold our vegetarian values in your personal life.

Main duties to provide a range of administration and operation support across the organisation to enable us to work smoothly and efficiently.
