How the Vegetarian Society supports student vegetarian groups
The Vegetarian Society has a wealth of resources covering all aspects of vegetarianism. They can be ordered free of charge within the United Kingdom (although donations are always welcome!), and are perfect for Freshers’ Fairs and any other events your group is supporting. If you require more than ten copies of any one item, email the Campaigns and Engagement team directly at firstname.lastname@example.org.

The Vegetarian Society runs a variety of campaigns on veggie-related themes. We would love it if your group got involved in our campaigns, either by displaying our resources or creating complimentary resources of your own.
Stay in touch with other students and student groups around the UK – and across the globe – by visiting our Student Forum. It’s a great way to swap stories and get new ideas. You are welcome to browse the forum without registering or, better yet, register today and join the conversation!

National Vegetarian Week (NVW)
Each year at the end of May, the Vegetarian Society promotes National Vegetarian Week. This is a great opportunity for your veggie group to show its pride locally with your own NVW celebrations and campaigns. National Vegetarian Week posters and leaflets are always available to order free of charge within the UK from the Vegetarian Society.

Staying in touch
There are several ways that your student group can keep up-to-date with Vegetarian Society activities.
- Student group form: Please fill in the form so that we can let you know what’s going on.
- Facebook and Twitter: Our Student Vegetarian Society UK Facebook page is specifically for keeping in touch with student vegetarian groups around the country. You can also find us on Facebook as The Vegetarian Society and on Twitter.
- By email: You are always welcome to email our Campaigns and Engagement Team (email@example.com) directly for any veggie-related advice or support. We’d also love to hear about your experiences of starting or running your university or college’s veggie group.
- By post: Genuine old-school letters are always a treat to receive in our in-trays so feel free to put pen to paper if you fancy it (see address below). We also like to be able to send you stuff, too, like new resources and campaign posters, so make sure we have a current mailing address for your student group.
And if your college or university doesn’t have a vegetarian group, why not start one yourself?
