Food plays a huge part of any Christmas celebrations and everyone needs to put in a little planning. These Christmas recipes and advent calendar will give you all the inspiration you need.  Alex Connell, Principal Tutor of the Vegetarian Society Cookery School said, “Christmas is a time to celebrate and we’ve picked our favourite recipes so you can relax and enjoy the festivities. ‘Christmas all wrapped up…’ is full of warm, seasonal flavours – chestnuts, beetroot, cinnamon, leeks and hazelnuts – all you need to do is remember the roasties. While for the sweet-toothed individuals out there, how about mincemeat muffins or desserts bursting with raspberries, chocolate, orange and ginger?  Don’t forget to visit www.vegsoc.org/christmas to open the advent calendar doors – where each day there’ll be a chance to take part in our Christmas give-aways.”

The Vegetarian Society is a charity that aims to influence, inspire and support people to embrace and maintain a vegetarian lifestyle.
