28 January 2015

The Vegetarian Society is pleased to announce a brand new event: KIN 2015. On July 11 2015, speakers from around the world will gather together at Victoria Warehouse in Manchester, to take part in a thought-provoking event – KIN 2015. With a focus on health, animal welfare and the environment, as well as global, social and political issues, KIN will be about the arguments, the research and the evidence. Visit the KIN 2015 website kin.vegsoc.org/2015 for more details, info on booking tickets and a full list of speakers.

Confirmed speakers are Tony Juniper, Dr Neal Barnard, Tom Heap, Dr Melanie Joy, George Marshall, Dos Winkel and many more. There will also be plenty to get involved with from workshops to cookery demonstrations and stalls.

Lynne Elliot, Chief Executive the Vegetarian Society, said: “KIN 2015 is a place where we can get together, talk, explore, learn and create positive change. More and more people around the world are embracing veggie ideals for many different reasons and we want to share those reasons and bring them to a larger stage.”

KIN 2015, takes place in Manchester - the home of the Vegetarian Society since 1847 - and will show the world that vegetarianism is a kinder way of living. Visit the website to find out when the early-bird tickets are released.
